Hi, I'm Afi Sulaiman!

A whimiscal artist and illustrator, I create art by exploring numerous lines, patterns, textures and colours used in a fun, quirky and naive manner; there is a sense of innocence and nostalgia.

I celebrate colours and fun by experimenting the modern genre of collage through digitalisation of drawings and assembled wallpapers. Similarly, I use texture to approach the canvas prints that ranges from painting, sewing, beading and embroidery.

I have worked with both local and international brands, including but not limited to AEON, Prudential and MyCreative Ventures. I was also shortlisted as a participant for the National Art Gallery of Malaysia’s Young Art Entrepreneurs programme (2019) as well as invited to showcase my art in London’s The Steam Room (2021).
 

Besides art, I enjoy reading at a nice cafe once in a while as well as go gallery hopping. I also love dressing up on a daily basis.
